Job Requirements

In this role, you will be responsible for increasing our market share, building the category and positioning Savyour as the starting point for consumer journeys for the category. As a Category Lead, you will be working closely with and reporting directly to the Head of Category. You will be closely working with product, commercial, marketing, and growth teams to create value for our users and partner brands.

Execution

Own the category's growth targets and work with the head of category to achieve them.

Be accountable for the relevant Category:

  • Category GMV
  • MAUs wrt category
  • Brand success metrics
  • # of active brands
  • Brand equity

Support the category head in:

  • Onboarding process for brands along with commercial. 
  • Ensuring monthly cadence meetings with tier 1 brands. 
  • Driving marketing, sales & account management to meet targets. 
  • Coordinate with growth, CRM & product teams

Category Growth

  • Aggressively capture market share by means of acquiring new audiences and brands.
  • Set targets to grow active users and brands including success criteria.
  • Ensure targets are met and resolve bottlenecks where needed.
  • Lead pitches for all brands. Ensure brand commitments are being honored.
  • Work with Brand POC, marketing and PR to crack in-bound lead generation tactics.

Experience

  • 4-6 years of experience in the relevant category (electronics, food, healthcare, fashion, beauty, grocery etc. industry 
  • Proven record of leading cross-functional teams to launch and execute a wide range of local campaigns with an integrated marketing mix.

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the market landscape for their category
  • Hands-on knowledge of planning & execution
  • Good to haves include knowledge of digital marketing, influencer marketing, inbound, and digital ads, etc.
