Job Description

GCS Information Technology Services (Microsoft Midmarket Solution provider, Managed service provider) is looking for a self-driven Automation Engineer to join our team.
Selected person will
Build automations in Rewst, ConnectWise RMM, Liongard, and other tools.
Build and test new automations for clients.
Assist with onboarding new clients into the automation platform.
Proactively monitor client automation workflows for success

Job Responsibilities:

Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
Build test automation frameworks.
Log and document bugs in the tracking system (ConnectWise); Besides writing automated tests.
Test Automation Engineers can still do exploratory testing when they need to understand how functionality manifests itself to the customer.

Qualification & Skills Required:

BS IT / CS / Software Engineering, MS will be preferred.
3-5 years proven experience in Automation.
Previous roles in the MSP space, especially using MSP-centric tools from vendors such as ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, or NinjaOne
Skills with Microsoft Azure / 365
Experience using Web-API protocols such as REST or GraphQL, and working with JSON/YAML
Ability to set and maintain goals.
Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical users, including following up on issues and projects.
IT skills: Windows, AD, Cloud/SaaS, Networking, Security
Ability to write good, clear documentation.
