We are a fast-growing Canadian company that provides innovative solutions to Public and Government relations professionals. We seek a skilled MEAN stack developer to join our team and help us deliver high-quality web applications and services.Job Description:As a MEAN stack developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing web applications using MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, and Node.js. You will work closely with other developers and project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet the requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality web applications using the MEAN stack
- Write well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure project requirements are met
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and in existing product.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
- Web-scraping to gather data
Requirements:
- Strong experience with the MEAN stack
- Excellent understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular
- Experience with MongoDB and Node.js, you should be able to write advanced Mongo queries including aggregate, faceting, lookups etc
- Experience with Git and other version control systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- At least 2 years of experience in MEAN stack.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 2-3 years of industry experience.
- Experience in "puppeteer" in a plus
