Technical Writer

Our client is a World's Largest IT Automation Giant (25000 + Employees Worldwide). It is a German multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Munich and the largest industrial manufacturing company in Europe with branch offices abroad. It is a technology company centered on the industries that form the backbone of economies – manufacturing, infrastructure, and transport. Embedded Software division is the leading provider of software for electronic devices.

Mentor Embedded products build, debug, profile, analyze and optimize advanced embedded systems without proprietary IP constraints. Their comprehensive design solutions include open source tools, software/middleware, 2D/3D UI development, target hardware and custom services.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Determine the needs of users of technical documentation
Study product samples and talk with product designers and developers
Work with technical staff to make products and instructions easier to use
Write or revise supporting content for products
Edit material prepared by other writers or staff
Incorporate animation, graphs, illustrations, or photographs to increase users’ understanding of the material
Select appropriate medium, such as manuals or videos, for message or audience
Standardize content across platforms and media
Collect user feedback to update and improve content

Job Qualification:

BS/MS in a technical degree (Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Physics/Applied Math)
3+ years of relevant experience in embedded software industry
Experience with Linux-based operating systems is desired
Polished ability to write concisely
Excellent interpersonal skills
Outstanding investigative research instincts
Multitasking and/or project management capabilities
A portfolio of success stories and writing samples.
