Know (infra)structure and operations.
Know policy, implement it when fulfilling his/her work duties.
Fulfil personal as well as departmental objectives and targets.
Ensures all required and applicable standard tests are carried according to the schedule preventing inefficiencies in the department and unavailability of critical safety equipment (sometimes in liaison with Operations).
Ensures emergency response equipment and resources are professionally maintained and available and that personnel responsible for response are well trained.
Provides safety guidance of technical project designs and changes in compliance with HSSEQ requirements and ensures that effective risk management is adopted including the systematic identification of all significant hazards, assessment of risk and setting of remedial actions.
Ensures that all significant HSSEQ events, opportunities for improvement and relevant information is communicated to workers in a manner that supports HSSEQ initiatives and provides focus on behavioral aspects of safety management – where applicable.
