About the Job:
Lead the cross-functional engineering team for server-side, Android application development, and Web frontend development. The role will be supported by the head of product management.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead and own all engineering efforts in the organization from requirements to production
- Communicate with stakeholders, Tech Lead, Project & Product management; as well as QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and security personnel
- Apply best practices for engineering processes, each platform and the tech team in general
- Inspire a culture of coaching, learning, and improvement in the team
Qualifications and Skills
- Hands on with MERN stack development and NestJS, NextJS frameworks
- Good understanding of Reactive programming and declarative UI practices with state management
- Expertise of NodeJS and Asynchronous code with event loop
- Hands on with Android application development, Jetpack libraries and Compose
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Practical understanding of SOLID principles
- Good knowledge of design patterns, especially MVC on NestJS and MVVM on Android
Education Requirement: No formal education is required, but a bachelor’s in computer science is a plus
Experience Requirement: At least 15 years or more, with at least 5 years in a similar role
