Build relationships with clients/contractors as part of the team
Liaise with client, client representatives and other third parties on project issues
Contribute effectively with other functions within the business and operational site
Delivery of projects from tender stage through to project completion
Planning of project labour and resources
Preparing progress reports
Management of drawings
Management of commissioning
Ensuring Completion Certificates and Final Account Statements are issued
Running projects from start to finish
Ensure that all work methods are sufficient to meet the project’s needs
Ensure that the master programme and schedule of deliverables for the project is developed, meeting the requirements of the brief and the client’s expectations
Quality checking and setting up ready for commissioning
Managing day to day running of projects
Managing H&S on projects
To prepare detailed forward plans of work commitments and appropriate labor requirements
To monitor and control the day-to-day finance of all estimated contracts, up to and including production of final accounts
To order and ensure that materials, equipment and plant detailed in specifications and drawings for construction or improvement work are ordered
To check and authorise orders and invoices ensuring that agreed financial regulations and procedures are followed
