What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
 
-Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products. Meet with the Technology team to understand the strategy of the function in line with Organization strategy and company road map. Have meetings, with members of sales, commercial and other relevant teams to understand how each function at Jazz contributes to the overall success. Understand the function and processes of Regional Operations department within the Technical domain as well as the role and responsibilities of team within the organization.
 
-Within 60 days, you will:
Have an introduction to Jazz Access Network, mainly 2G/3G/4G-LTE Network Architecture, Nodes, Application, Protocol, Fueling, handling of FLM and Security Interfaces.
Develop concrete understanding of Jazz network with respect to operations and handling all the issues related to FLM vendor management.
Go through all the MOP & SOP of Network Field operations.
Collaborate with internal employees within Technical (Peer departments) and relevant stakeholders (Sales, Commercial and Finance)
 
-Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Develop thorough competency on FLM and stakeholder management (Security/fueling vendors).
Be able to perform O&M, Configuration Management, Fault Management, Performance Management, Network Audit, Health Checks, Vendor Management and Project Execution with a profound grip and effective decision making.
Continuously review and bring improvements to the Jazz Technology and Development framework by creating innovative solutions as per global best practices.
 
A bit about you:
We are looking for someone who has already worked for Access Operations with hands on experience in configuration management and troubleshooting whereas RF experience would be an added advantage. We are also looking for someone who has excellent communication skills to be able to promote the department and technology portfolio with professionalism, maturity and a holistic view of any competing viewpoints.
 
A bit about us:
The Network Department includes end to end technology Operations (Level-I) domain, mainly focused on the deployment of new technologies, keeping network fault free and up to date. Furthermore, customer complaints (commercial & corporate) are also being handled by this department. We are focused towards aligning learning and contribute to business effectively while aligning behaviors to the Jazz values.
 
The structure of the team you will join is:
8 member team (including the Manager), main tasks includes customer complaints handling (corporate & commercial), configuration management, troubleshooting, vendor interaction and performance management for level network operations, all KPI targets achievements against the assigned MBU including DCR, CSSR, fuel and network availability.
 
Essential skills must have: 
Should have Extensive knowledge of Mobile telecommunication and telecommunication processes with In-depth understanding of Managed services
Microwave configurations, troubleshooting and installations
BTS configurations, troubleshooting, installations
Rectifiers and RMS troubleshooting replacements
2G/3G and 4G network hardware configurations.
Customer centricity approach to identify and fix network issues
BSS/TXN/Power troubleshooting skills
The job requires the flexible hours in case of emergencies so the ideal candidate must be willing to work in such situations.
 
The two (02) must have technologies the candidate should have.
Basic knowledge of RF optimization experience with through knowledge of DCR, CSSR, Network availability.
Experience of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of telco and non telco equipment, management and execution.
 
The three (03) must have past experiences the candidate should have.
2-3 years of previous experience in the fields of BSS/TXN/Power role in the Telecommunication industry.
Knowledge of GSM Architecture
Engineering degree holder (Electrical/Electronics/Telecom)
