We are searching for a motivated Accountant who should be excellent in handling multi tasks with exceptional communication and time management skills. We expect the Accountant to assist the Accounting Department with data entry, processing, recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact-checking, preparing budgets and reports. Candidate should be thorough, accurate, trustworthy, organized and efficient with good bookkeeping skills.
Candidate should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles, proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel / Quick books / Soft Account Manager (SAM).
Main Responsibilities:
· Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
· Preparing statutory accounts.
· Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
· Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
· Managing petty cash transactions.
· Controlling credit and chasing debt.
· Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
· Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, etc.
· Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
· Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
· Preparing financial reports. Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
