Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s product lines
- Conduct product demos for existing and potential customers
- Provide trainings and conduct learning workshops/boot camps
- Assist and train practitioners with using digital content in conducting lessons in class, and provide
- recommendations on best teaching practices
- Operationally a fundraising and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) business development plan
- Develop and manage relationships with national and international donor agencies, family foundations, CSR
- managers, not-for-profits and government o cials
- Manage relationships with existing business development partners
- Ideate and create concept notes, technical proposals, budgets and tailored solution sales to CSR funds,
- not-for-profits, donor agencies and government departments
- Create, maintain and manage a robust business development leads generation platform
- Work closely with the Directors of Business Development and Outreach on various departmental initiatives
- Any other tasks as may be required from time to time
Skills required
- 5 – 8 years of business development experience, especially in the development sector
- Cross-sectoral relationship building and management with stakeholders in the education space preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, IT and presentation skills
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Pro-active, self-starting work approach and must be a team player
- Detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task
- Must be adaptable to changes and able to work under pressure
