A candidate with sound technical knowledge is needed by a Software company for catering to the following tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for server-side web application logic and integration of the work front-end developers do.
Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimization of the application for maximum speed Implementation of security and data protection
Design and implementation of data storage solutions
Advanced understanding of emerging web technologies
Maintain and contribute to best practices and guidelines of programming
Work with a team of UI designers, programmers, and server admins, to bring brand new concepts to market
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
