Merchandiser

LULUSAR is a womenswear brand that integrates every part of value chain in retail and production. We operate on a just-in-time manufacturing model, focusing on executing deliveries with quick lead times and operating on a short product development cycle.

We’re looking for a Merchandiser who will be responsible for following up with the production and logistics teams on raw materials procurement, production planning, cost management, and order deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Make daily factory visits to gather updated production statuses of each line

• Oversee pre-production activities and ensure correct and timely handover

• Oversee tracking and development of samples/prototypes

• Produce daily and monthly reports for production summaries on WIP, output quantities, and expected lead times

• Closely monitor quality issues and coordinate with the production team for corrective action plans

• Create internal product cost sheets for each product to assist the sales team in pricing

• Observe actual cost deviations from theoretical costing for products

• Continuously monitor production capacities and coordinate with the sales team for stock-planning

• Follow-up on raw material procurement for scheduled production

• Ensure best practices are met for production management and costing

• Meet and communicate with all relevant stakeholders for updates and progress

Requirements

The applicant must have a background as either a PPC or Merchandiser in the apparel manufacturing. The person must demonstrate a clear understanding each stage of the production cycle for manufacturing.

Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s

• Experience working in textile manufacturing

• Strong and demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel
