The purpose of this position is Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) project activities implemented in Quetta. The position will provide facilitation to MEAL department of INGO in Need assessments, baseline surveys, Learning Log, Action Plan Tracker, review/make MEAL/work plans, data collection, analysis and management, spot checks, field visits and reports, coordination with key stakeholders and all relevant line departments.
Main Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities:
Support to MEAL department in implementation of MEAL guidelines of project at District level.
Support to design, conduct and manage baseline assessments, data collection methods and schedules, special studies and surveys in accordance with objectives and
expected results for management and lessons learnt.
Responsible for managing the Project Progress Matrices/ Performance Indicator tracking sheets (PIR) and other data gathering tools based on key performance indicators of project and make sure that all project provide data on timely basis.
To carry out regular field visits to project areas, prepare and disseminate field monitoring visit reports to concerned stakeholders for effective and timely decision making.
Provide support to conduct assessments, baselines and periodic studies that can support in identification and prioritization of problems, as well as project design.
To keep close track of all project programmatic progress; identify and trouble shoot the gaps
Regular updation of MEAL trackers/database and Lessons Learnt Log for sharing with MEAL Coordinator on monthly basis.
Compile and analyse MEAL functions data on monthly basis and share it with program teams and MEAL manager.
To share all Monthly and Quarterly Progress reports / updates with CO for HQ reporting on or before deadline.
To prepare/share progress reports/updates on PPT for Monthly/Quarterly/Mid-Year and Annual Progress Review on or before deadline.
Reporting
Maintain effective and efficient flow of timely and quality reports submission from field office to country office according to the standard temples.
To review field reports to ensure and improve the quality and accuracy of the data reported.
To ensure that reports reflect organization strategies, policies, programming framework and project management tools.
Accountability and Learning
To maintain an Accountability mechanism for timely registration and response to all complaints of stakeholders and to ensure compliance of CHS and HAPs standards/practices.
On the basis of complaints, provide regular reports to MEAL department on action taken and needs of improvement in project designs and strategies.
Increase awareness of field staff on accountability mechanisms through formal and in-formal support.
Support MEAL department to develop and maintain “learning sharing mechanisms” for further improvements in program/ project designs and strategy.
Manage complaint response mechanism at education project.
Receive accountability data from field, analyse it and share it with Regular updation of
At project target area level take lead on accountability and learning data analysis and write-up.
Any other task related to MEAL assigned by the Line Manager.
