The Position We are looking to hire a Product Owner to extend our R&D team at Contour. A successful Product Owner (PO) will work to deliver components of a complex enterprise-grade ERP solution with local and offshore colleagues. As a PO, you will be a key link between Product Management, Customers and Development. You will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, innovation and communication skills with our Customers. You will also be expected to quickly learn and become a subject expert in the Agriculture, Construction and Lift Truck Dealership Management industry. You must have excellent communication skills to be able to speak, present and collaborate with onshore clients/customers on day to day basis in the US. The hired candidate will be located and work out of the M.M Enterprise Lahore office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. Analyze, facilitate, and develop documentation for business cases and technical requirements
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, business process analysis, use cases or user stories, scenarios, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis
Partner with developers, architects, and other technical resources to design efficient and scalable technology solutions
Help UX designers create a superior user experience.
Help QA develop User Acceptance test plans, write test scripts, and coordinate and lead UAT testing sessions
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Develop deep knowledge of the Agriculture, Construction and Lift Truck dealership industries
Develop your industry knowledge to help product management build insightful products.
Do what it takes for successful on time releases, and so contribute in the release planning and sprint planning and setting stakeholders expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience as a Product Owner.
7+ Years of professional experience, with at least 4+ years of recent experience in working as Agile Product Owner, and/or relevant experience in Product Management and/or Product Development experience preferably in Agile Team.
You have balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.
You are comfortable and familiar with being the voice of the customer in a development team.
Familiarity with web-based product development methodologies and best practices
You have experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with popular web architectures
You can read and consume vast amount of data and are able to quickly focus on the key information.
You love executing. The long-term roadmap/strategy is key, but without execution there's no way to get there. You are detail oriented and do whatever it takes to successfully release.
You are thorough. You turn complex ideas into well-defined, detailed, executable specifications.
