Responsibilities

Contacting Drivers and scheduling shipment deliveries and pickups
Communicating with customers and making note of any shipment handling requests
Determining and letting the customers know all the freight details
Ensuring that the deliveries and pickups are done as per the allocated timeline
Making a note of any route change requests
Generating and verifying freight bills and invoices
Checking the Truck Drivers compliance with the transportation rules and regulations
Maintaining and updating Drivers logs
Addressing customer shipment queries and complaints
Scheduling and monitoring truck repairs and maintenance
Negotiating freight charges with vendors and customers Requirements
Proven work experience as a Truck Dispatcher.
Familiarity with transport management and logistics software
Complete knowledge of the transportation.
