Intake Assesment.
Maintain and complete ‘Case Management File’ of clients.
Provide regular addiction treatment and HIV/AIDS counseling.
Address client issues related to HIV status, ART Adherence and Rehabilitation.
Counsel clients on therapeutic activities.
Encourage and help client in seeking family support.
Explain client the details of AAU program and its importance, including ART adherence.
Help client identify barriers to stability provide guidelines to remove these barriers.
Provide emotional, social and psychological support to client.
Explain to the client home-based care, hygiene and nutrition after completion of program at AAU.
Family session through telephone and explain about effective family relations with clients.
Counsel client on positive living, prevention and safer practices.
Record and address day to day client issues.
Deliver therapeutic lectures on regular basis according to the program schedule.
Conduct therapeutic groups according to schedule.
Counsel client on different issues during treatment through individual sessions.
Besides all the above, any other responsibilities / instructions related to the program given by the Manager need to be followed from time to time.

Since 1990 Nai Zindagi has been working with disfranchised groups of people affected by the use of drugs and associated harms to help them move from margins of society to center stage. Often people affected by poverty, social injustice, criminalization and stigma use drugs to cope with the harsh realities of life they are confronted with every day. Increasingly larger numbers of people now inject drugs and share syringes/needles resulting in sporadic epidemics of HIV/AIDS in different cities of the country.
