A world leader in its HCM and Finance solutions "Nakisa" is proud to be growing in Pakistan and looking for the passionate professional for the role of “Accountant” to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. If you are a M.COM qualified with two years of experience, looking for a new challenge and with an ambition to put all of your efforts for Nakisa's internal payroll and accounts department then this is the right opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting and sorting invoices and cheques.
- Keeping a thorough record of business transactions.
- Maintaining a database, ensuring that records are complete and current.
- Recording information, processing, and filing forms.
- Updating ledgers, researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Responding appropriately to vendor and internal requests.
- Reconciling accounts in a timely manner.
- Must have basic knowledge of taxation laws.
- Should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize and work independently
- Any other accounting task assigned by the head office.
Skills:
- Must hold Masters of Commerce (M.COM) or equivalent Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant or Accounting Clerk in a well reputed company
- Strong mathematical and accounting concepts
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Clear, concise and effective communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
Assets:
- Experience working in a software product company
- Understanding of accounting software
