Reporting to the Development Manager, you will be responsible for working on the design and implementation of Java applications. You will be part of a passionate Agile team built on creativity and passion for software development
Responsibilities:
- You will be working in a fast-paced Agile-based development environment.
- Analyze and detail product requirements.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Write unit tests for Java and JavaScript.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for design reviews.
- Defect correction.
- Document software components
Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in Java Development
- Good understanding of web based technology, MVC applications, HTML5, CSS3, JSP, Servlet, AJAX, JQuery, Eclipse and Subversion/Git
- Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems
- Understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and methodology
- Hands on experience in both HR & Financial modules of SAP will be preferred
- Must have strong organization and good attention to detail
- Must be good in problem solving and analytical skills
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum qualification is Bachelors of Computer Science or equivalent
Assets:
- J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JSP, Servlet, Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse and Subversion/Git
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
- Experience in Software development of enterprise applications like (Financial & HCM applications)
- SQL and Relational Databases
- Agile based development environment
