Finance Manager

The company is looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about building a career in financial services and in particular asset management. The individual should have 5 – 6 Years of relevant experience in finance and accountancy experience is necessary. Initially, the individual will spend time with the CEO in order to understand the financial controller role within the company. The role will involve maintaining the company accounts, payroll, HR, Office management and being able to produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for the CEO of the company.

Should have knowledge of QuickBooks, reporting. Data analyzing
Able to work as multi-tasking
Recording financial transactions by entering account information
Maintaining accounting records
Providing financial information to management by compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, and financial statements (including monthly and annual reports)
Auditing financial information
Managing financial system and budgets
Preparing accounts and tax returns
Generate the monthly revenue calculations
Produce minutes for weekly/monthly meetings
Providing tax planning advice with reference to current legislation, as well as tax issues associated with business mergers and acquisitions
Maintaining accounting controls by designing and implementing policies and procedures
Reconciling financial discrepancies by analyzing accounts
Skill needed for this role:
The accountant must have the highest level of professionalism and integrity as well as be self-motivated
Excellent numeracy and attention to detail are essential, and they must work methodically using their strong problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills are also required, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.
