We are looking for a great Ruby on Rails Developer with at least 1.5+ years experience to join our existing team and help them both build new products and work on existing processes.
To be both successful and have fun in this position, you have to be a team player with both a strong background in Ruby on Rails development and a creative mindset.

Primary Responsibilities

Requirements

Ruby on Rails - You need to have proven experience with RoR over a couple of product cycles to know the best practices. You should be aware of the way RoR framework evolved over the last couple of years
Software Design Patterns - You should have honed your problem solving skills by mastering software design patterns. Like a skillful tactician, know what strategy is suitable for its relevant contexts
Front-End Familiarity - You need to be familiar with front-end basics in order to be amazing at the backend. If not your best, HTML, CSS, and Javascript should be your good friends
Passion for Product Development - Yes, we love building products, show us what you have built with your blood & sweat

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Experience with Javascript and AJAX heavy web application development
Familiarity with our software stack, which consists of Ruby/Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Heroku, Resque, Redis, Git, Rspec, Unicorn & Nginx, Javascript, and angular.js
