Be responsible for closing books at the year’s end upon completion of annual audit.
Review the various ledger accounts including reconciliation of the general ledger, revenue accounts, expenditures, and cash balances.
Monitor the financial activity on assigned programs and prepares expenditure reports for program managers as necessary.
Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes or directs correcting entries.
Prepare, maintains control, and is responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.
Monitor cash flows and using the same to predict future financial trends.
Formulate strategies to be used in the long-term financial plans for a business entity.
Develop management mechanisms in the finances department for purposes of minimizing the financial risks.
Manage the accounting and monitoring systems for the company’s finances
Develop good working relationships with professionals such as bankers, auditors or statutory organizations for the benefit of the Company.
