Background

Orcas is a fast-growing startup in the Edtech industry. We’re a learning platform that connects students with tutors and offers educational content to our learners.

Orcas is looking for an Educational Content Expert with substantial experience in teaching and coordinating a core subject learning in Pakistani educational institutions.

This role requires an instructional leader who is passionate about their subject and enthusiastic towards EdTech. The role requires having high awareness of the Pakistani education sector and insights that are specific to the Pakistani teaching and learning context. The role primarily involves leading the educational content creation in a core subject in alignment with the Pakistani national curriculum.

This position reports directly to the Pakistan Market Launcher and Head of Education.

Responsibilities

Create a learning path for each grade that is mapped to the Pakistani national curriculum and serves Orcas platform conditions
Recruit content creators with part-time or full-time freelance contracts
Onboard content creators for smooth process and high quality content
Revise content with regards to formatting and subject matter
Lead the subject content creation operation
Ensure timely delivery of content to Orcas product team
Participate in content creation as appropriate to their grade-level expertise
Engage in ongoing communication and checkpoint meetings with the HoE
