I worked on a project related to Biosafety Analysis of Edible Vaccine against the Newcastle Disease. A complete reasearch mechanism was established to examine Albino Mice which were fed with this edible vaccine. Different Biotechnology techniques were employed during the course of all this process. They included DNA Extraction, Serum Analysis, Gel Electrophoresis, Centrifugation, Histopathology, Microscopy, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and many more. The results were later compiled and are in process of publication in a well renowned Scientific Journal.
Different social service and recreational activities were part of this internship program where main focus was laid upon working as a group. It involved a public awareness campaign in which local people were made aware of the dangerous level of pollution caused by the use of plastic. People were also made aware about the preservation of endangered wildlife species like Snow Leopards in Pakistan.
