Operation, Supervision and Controlling of whole power house equipment through SCADA.
Keep coordination with irrigation department for ensuring optimum generation. Load regulation as per w ater inflow. 
Identifying faults and abnormalities, isolating and rectifying them from healthy parts of the system.
Supervision and Monitoring of maintenance work in Power House relating to every Section i.e. MME, EME, SCADA & (P&I). 
Hand on practical Experience to start unit for commercial operation under Normal & emergency situation, also to stop units under emergency situation. 
Unit pre-starting checks after maintenance/major overhauling.
Monitoring power house auxiliary system, governor pumps operation pressure sump tank pressure, Excitation System, Drainage & Dewatering system, cooling water system & Air compressor system. 
Restoration of Power House Auxiliary through diesel Generator in case of lines tripping.
Preparation of daily/monthly check sheets and inspection reports.
Operation of 220 KV/132 KV lines.
Operation of Plant Auxiliaries.
Start/Stop operation of Units.
Assist maintenance departments in planning and implementation of Corrective and preventive Maintenance of electrical Equipment. 
Planning and Scheduling of Annual Maintenance of Turbines and Auxiliaries.
To assist TR (Trou ble report) raising.
