I am a professional and committed individual with an exceptional record of interpersonal, communicative and decision making skills. I have the ability to work as an integral member of a team or alone. I obtained my BS (Hons) degree in Microbiology from University of Sindh, Pakistan and currently enrolled as M.Phil Scholar in Microbiology at same university. I currently hold the position Screener at the Communicable Diseases Control-III, Provincial TB Control Program Sindh.
I hold TB screener position and posted at TB Hospital Khairpur where I am accountable to spend time and engrossed with Doctors and medical staff to recognize the presumptive TB cases among in patients, and express operational issues to PPO in a timely manner for smooth functioning of my concerned DOTS section. Over and above to it, I facilitated TB DOTS activities & coordinated with counterpart in DR -TB to support all the programmatic activities, and ensure & maintain all the NTP recoding & reporting formates properly. In addition to this, I also coordinated with Laboratory staff for follow-up of patients referred from DOTS section, and retrieve lost to follow up patients & facilitate contact tracing through counseling of the registered TB patients with special focous on children. In addition to aforementioned, I also connect the TB cases to peripheral BMUs as per patients choice & follow-up the transfered out patients with recipient BMU. In exercise of my powers, I am responsible to maintain documentation of medicine dispanse drugs to patients. All in all, I am also liable to prepare quarterly reports & submit to Reginal PPO by the first/two weeks of every subsequent quarter. Regards
I started my careere as a Lab Technologist at Al-Sadaat Voluntary Blood Bank and Laboratory Gambat where I performed different tests on Chemistry Analyzer (Cobas 402) and ELIZA (E411) and on different kits. Additionally, I also performed different Microbiological tests on different media with different samples.
