During my house job I have learned how to manage outpatient department (OPD), accident & emergency, and stabilize patients in accordance with basic medical and trauma protocols. I used to take history and physical examination, documentation of daily progress report and follow up of senior orders. I have also learned how to present patients to seniors and discuss with them. In Accident & Emergency department I have to discuss cases with colleagues, other departments and refer patient to the concerned department if required. I have also monitored patients in HDU and documented their improvement reports. Preparation of documents for admission and discharge was also one of my duty.
