Present Presently at PRL my job responsibilities include to ensure the following activities.
Performs shift duties under the supervision of Shift Engineer.
Hand on experience to check the Process & oil movement area according to P &ID.
Crude pump Steam turbines start-up and shut-down.
Responsible for Start up and commissioning of rotating equipments like pumps & Condenser and steam turbines.
Crude oil Tanker receiving through pipeline and bowsers from oil fields and crude oil storage and feeding to crude distillation unit.
Pig launching receiving and receiving activities.
Different product deliveries to OMC (Oil Marketing Companies) through pipelines.
Hand experience to switch over of rundown & delivery tanks.
Workout daily gauge sheet, pump report and log book. Handling of API Oil separator system.
Sampling & gauging of different product tanks manually.
To manage & record keeping of all chemicals consuming in blending area.
To check the quality of petroleum products & took action in case of any abnormality.
Finished products transfer (Pipeline / truck loading) also performed other activities like tanks switchover operation, inter-tank transfer.
Generate both (Daily and monthly) based unit performance fact sheets.
To prepare equipment for handling over to maintenance.
Participation in fire drill activities on periodic basis.
Enforce and maintains discipline amongst members of the operating team.
Good knowledge of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment standards in the industry.
Decanting of local crude and condensate bowsers Fully awareness of HSEQ Aspects.

Safe handling of Bowsers.
Check gross dip, Water dip, Temperature, Sp.gr / API Gravity and sampling.
Assist in execution of prompt handling of local crude decantation operation and maintains up-to- date relevant record / Log Sheets / Log Book etc.

Products Gantry Operations Fully awareness of HSEQ aspects.
Bowser inspection (Safety Check List).
Safe handling of Bowsers.

Basically there are three section in any fertilizer production plant. I have got training in all three sections (ammonia, urea and utility). In ammonia plant gained knowledge about working principle and optimum condition of desulphurization, steam reformer, high and low temperature shift conversion, absorption column, striper, methanator, knock out vessel, ammonia reactor, furnace and handling of stream via turbo machinery.Whereas in urea experienced the working conditions and troubleshooting of evaporator, kettle condenser, ejector distillation column urea reactor and prilling tower. And at last utility section which is heart of other two sections. In this section experienced the working and troubleshooting of centrifugal and positive displacement (pump and compressor), purging gas, instrument air,cooling tower, boiler gas,steam turbine and water treatment .

Visited different department (Mining, Production, Quality control, Packging) Training and learning. Handling of raw material, Crushing of raw material, storage of raw material, Preheated and klin,Cement mill, Involved in troubleshooting during operation condition.
