Lab Technologist
Laboratory Technologist 2016-2017Biochemistry Performing Routine Chemistry Testing on Cobas c311 and Special Chemistry on ADVIA CENTAUR XP , Running of Daily Quality Control and evaluation of Quality Control through L.J chart. Running of External Control Samples and reporting to Senior Technologist. Performing of Daily , Weekly and Monthly maintenance of Analyzers. Running of CAP samples as per SOPS. Reporting and validating of results through LIS system.Hematology Assisting Hematologist for Bone Marrow aspiration and Slide Making of Bone marrow samples. Running Complete Blood Picture Samples on Sysmex Heamatology Analyzer XP 100 Evaluation and Slide preparation and Staining then Microscopy evaluating results. Laboratory Technologist 2014-2015Performs the tests in the laboratory as per given SOPsParticipate in general laboratory techniques such as staining, preparation of reagents/specimen for examination and train the juniors.Conduct analysis of blood and body fluids including Urine, Semen and Spinal Fluids.Microscopic Examination of Urine, Blood and Body fluids.Operate and maintain equipment used in qualitative and quantitative analysis.Cleaning and maintenance of equipment under use and work area.Obtain, cut, stain and mount biological material on slides for microscopic study and diagnosis, following SOPs.Follow and implement laboratory Quality and Safety Manuals standards.Run QC and Calibrations regularly and monitors the QC charts and take necessary corrective action.Perform proficiency testing and submit to laboratory Director.Operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in the Laboratory.
