概要

Because I have worked as a Business Services Officer (Universal Teller) for Askari Bank Limited for more than three years, I am qualified for positions such as receptionist, front desk supervisor, administration assistant, secretary, HR executive, accounts officer, and accountant. My job included direct interactions with bank customers every day. Not one customer has ever complained about my work.


I have also worked in operations for over 3 years. I have grown to understand and appreciate the importance of providing professional services at the front desk as well as ensuring smooth and zero-defect error-free operating procedures. In addition, I possess an understanding of accounting and finance principles and have experience analyzing and preparing financial reports. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Services and Sales
• Meet and Greet customers at the Counter and thank them for their business.• Provide services to Walk-in and Corporate customers as per established Bank SOP’s.• Communicate regulations and norms regarding transactions in a professional manner.• Provide guidance about Bank products to customers as and when necessary.• Achieve minimum Wait time and Serve time at the counter and waiting for customers in Branch.• Guide customers to relevant departments or persons for Query Resolutions.• Initiate referrals and cross-selling opportunities to existing customers.• Actively trying to convert walk-in customers to branch account holders and customers.• Explore opportunities to increase the number of branch customers to meet the overall annual targets of the branch.
Operations and Controls
• Handling transactions in Foreign Currency, Local Currency, Remittances, and other customer and branch transactions as required by the Branch Manager and Line manager.• Ensure assigned work activities are carried out as per Bank compliance procedures.• Ensure presence of enough Cash Balance in-branch vault, Balancing of Cash Counters, and appropriate cash handling as instructed by the Branch Management.• Report any abnormality during work to concerned superior immediately• Exercise due diligence related to customer transactions to ensure risk mitigation and adherence to relevant AML procedures and KYC initiatives• Ensure documentation and the transaction process is in compliance with both the internal and regulatory requirement• Accurately performing all over-the-counter cash and non-cash transactions.• Credit / Debit customer account and acknowledge receipt/payment to customers.• Handling customer account opening requests.• Replenishing, maintaining, troubleshooting branch ATM machines.• Issuance of Demand Drafts & Bankers Cheques.• Performing core banking transactions in Oracle Flex cube core banking software. • Handling other banks clearing cheques & internal transfer cheques on daily basis.• Real Time Gross Settlement transactions for customer accounts in Askari Bank Limited.• Ensuring banking transaction compliance with regulator State Bank of Pakistan policies.• Compliance with Bank’s internal audit and internal compliance procedures.• Keeping up-to-date with State Bank of Pakistan, internal audit and compliance circulars.• Maintaining internal security procedures and always keeping client confidentiality.• Preparing reports related to banking transactions for the purpose of financial reporting & Audit.
