1.In collaboration with UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) in the area and the FSO evaluate and monitor existing security measures for the safeguarding of staff, visitors, property and premises. Monitor adherence to Security Management System procedures and practice Identify gaps and recommend solutions and/or arrange for their improvement.n2. Review and monitor the premises security and evacuation plans, provide briefing on any new security measures and instructions.n3. Support the operations and management of the Warden System, including the conduct of exercises and administer the Emergency Communication System.n4. Participate in organizing and delivering security briefings and training courses on security awareness and preparedness in his/her area and arrange for security briefings for newly appointed staff and visitors.n5. Report security incidents affecting staff, offices and assets and assist the FSO in investigations, preparation of security reports in a timely manner according to SOP guidelines.n6. Attend security cell meetings and other security-related activities of UNDSS in his/her area.n7. Respond to staff security emergencies, provide general administrative assistance in the security office and perform other security-related duties as required.n8.Responsible to ensure effective coordination and advise on safety security management on all activities in the Pakistan programme.n9.Reporting to the Country Security Advisor who has overall decision-making responsibility.n10.Remain well briefed on all security developments within the country and the national security context. n11.To ensure that all activities are carried out with due regard to the security context. n12.To ensure the senior management of the programme are well briefed and appropriately trained for the security context.n13.To work with the Project Coordinator and Country Dri c tor to revise and maintain the Safety Security Plans for all field operations and locations.n14.Ensuring that they are rigorously observed.
