Responsible for supervising the day to day running and operations of the bank, whilst at the same time creating a professional, helpful and customer friendly environment for staff to work in.
Duties:
Ø  Control and supervise the staff and deal with their individual service matters/cases.
Ø  Assess the profitability on half yearly basis and take steps to keep the branch a profit earning unit
Ø  Maintain cordial and harmonious atmosphere within the branch to inspire the staff and ensure that work of branch is being performed efficiently, honestly and expeditiously.
Ø  Keep fully abreast of rules, regulations and standing instructions of the bank.
Ø  Redress genuine complaints and grievances, if any of employees and customers.
Ø  Timely reporting to higher offices.
Ø  Attend meeting of local administration and revenue authorities wherein matters relating to Bank business are to be discussed.
Ø  Keep expenditures pertaining to controllable heads within budgetary allocations.
Ø  Arrange prompt compliance for settlement of the audit reports including SBP, Commercial Audit, External Audit and Branches quarterly inspection reports etc.
