IT - Network Administration

Led all operations of the server room, monitored network, server and workstation health and utilization by identifying potential systemic and/or hardware issues and their timely rectification.
Ensured strict adherence to company’s data and network security policy and maintained a virus and infection free network using company’s Head Office recommended anti-virus, anti-SPAM and anti-spyware software.
Managed client configuration and support of O365, Windows 10, also coordinated with ISPs and IT vendors to ensure seamless internet service also negotiated the price, implementation the project, procurement of infrastructure.

IT Support

Exercised hands-on approach to manage all first level helpdesk software and hardware issues; led the sourcing of all IT equipment as per company’s IT standards and policies, while ensuring a control of IT expenditure.
Delivered essential IT training to general staff, provided ad-hoc and occasional support to company’s other regional offices also implemented and ensured strict adherence to company’s IT related policies and standards.
Steered efforts towards controlling and maintaining IT assets inventory. Kept track of equipment warranties, timely maintenance of all hardware, software and internet-based assets.

 Additional Responsibilities:
After the downsizing in the organization due to COVID-19, tasked to manage Customer Support Group, which comprises Human Resource & Administration Departments and my major responsibilities includes.
Human Resource Management:

Directed routine HR operations including the management of appointments, separations, and all employment related correspondence as well as annual performance appraisals and salary revision process of staff.
Built collaborative rapport with the local and regional managements and the Hong Kong Head Office with regard to HR related Policies & Procedures and other HR strategic and operational matters.
Served as a resource in all efforts to process monthly payroll, manage employees’ attendance system, and maintain personnel records of company staff.

Administration & Procurement:

Organized and supervised office activities (event planning etc.), controlled the office renovation and maintenance works from planning to completion, also managed the day-to-day administrative works of the office.
Conducted non-IT related procurements, coordinated with vendors and suppliers, monitored inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
Performed duties as a strategic overlay to manage and monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
