Projects Manager Commercial/Contracts
Scope of Works:
I have been working in Bahrain with (NASS Corporation, The Group) Bahrain based firm which is major group of companies in Kingdom of Bahrain for all type of Engineering and Construction works.
Role Purpose/Major Responsibilities:
• Reporting to Director/General Manager/Operations Manager, in order to discussing the Contracts and Site related matters.
• Leading to Contracts/Commercial/Quantity Surveyors/Estimators and Site team members and defining their role or responsibilities.
• Liaise with clients and their representatives (Architects, Engineers, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors etc.) including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of to date progress of project.
• Communicate with our Project Manger’s in relation to project budget, measurements, variations, claims, extension of time, final account, PCC, FCC and sub-contract works and any other commercial/contracts relation business and contractual correspondence.
• Responsible for submission in a timely fashion such as measurements/valuations/interim payment applications and invoices to client.
• Arranging all contractual documents includes contract agreements, Insurances, performance bonds, guarantees and warrantees.
• Ensure all contractual elements compliance with company policies and procedures for all projects as per strategy and values.
• Ensure all changes in specifications, scope of work, drawings and contract obligations are documented systematically.
• Negotiate with suppliers & sub-contractors for high value orders also handling the procurement of construction materials.
• Reviewing project budget, preparing FTC forecast to complete and resources requirement. Monitor construction productivity and investigate reasons for poor/good performance of ongoing and completed projects.
• Accountable to HQ in order to update on current and completed projects as required as per company procedures.
