Thesis Overview : MMCs are regarded as one of the next-generation high-voltage multilevel converters for many applications like HVDC, medium-voltage drives, electric railway supplies and microgrid. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate the performance of various modulation techniques and select the suitable technique for industrial MMCs while implementing communication buses to control the particular power modules.

Thesis Overview : Renewable Energy Resources specifically Solar is not reliable in terms of sustainability and power quality due to their intermittent nature. The efforts to improve the performance of the solar cells and to generate maximum power at optimum conditions have been a major concern for a long time. For this purpose the bachelor research thesis has been conducted by which an optimal power solution can be extracted and can contribute in the development of the energy sector.
