Area of Responsibilities 1. Providing Management/HR/Administrative support to the Senior Management for smooth flow of Office Operations; 2. Policy issues regarding employees and establishment; 3. Coordination between campuses and the Registrar Office on establishment matters; 4. Developing and implementing Management & Administration strategies and policies for ensuring its alignment with University established affairs and laid down procedures and policies; 5. Preparing relevant IOMs related to Policy and Administration; 6. Internal & External Coordination/Correspondence of the University for Solicitation, evaluation, execution, and monitoring of various management affairs; 7. Ensure consistency and undertake policy improvement efforts at all level; 8. Announcement of schedule for meetings of various University bodies; 9. Preparation of minutes and agendas for various University bodies (BOG, BOT AC, BASR); 10. Editing/Publication of University PhD, MS, Faculty, Student, Prospectus and other handbooks; 11. Corresponding with the Advertising Company for Admission Ads/Faculty and Non Faculty Advertisements; 12. Correspondence with HEC, PEC, NCEAC, NBEAC, Insurance companies etc.; 13. Correspondence with University lawyer on all legal issues.

Accurate and Timely processing of regular salary revision/enhancement cases on the basis of educational enhancement, resignations, leave cases in collaboration with HR Office at campuses
Conducting Annual Appraisal process for Faculty and Non-Faculty
Coordination between campuses and the Registrar Office on all HR and Proper maintenance of HR record at NU-HQ
Matters related to employment records, job reviews, staff complaints, leave record, reimbursement of employee provident fund and other administrative matters
Identification of budgetary positions, verifying applicants’ information mentioned in resumes, such as qualifications and previous employment
Preparing relevant IOMs related to policy and Administration
Performing key activities pertaining to recruitment and selection from preparing JDs, Job Ads, Internal Vacancy Notifications, drafting of interview panel minutes and recommendations, following up of approval, preparing offer letters, appointment letters and announcement of new joining
Dealing with employment records, job reviews, leave record and other administrative matters
Feedback related to salary revision/Promotion/Move-Over cases, staff appraisals and General Office Management
Managing personal files of employees, conducting evaluation of employees on probation and issuing confirmation of employment letters
Drafting of Transfer/Posting orders, Notices/Memos, Holiday notifications, Service Experience Certificates and Retirement letters
Providing administrative support to the senior management in the entire recruitment and selection process from inception through to placement with a heavy focus on interviewing, CV sorting and administrative follow-up
Making staff comparison reports through University’s software (HRMS) & identifying vacancies in the budget.
