Internship At Central Diesal Locomotive
CDL is a govenment workshop which comes under the scope of railway ministry.It is responsible for repairing of locomotives.During my internship at CDL I learnt about the processing,types,parts,assemly,working and reparing of locomotives.There are diiferent shops in CDL for different parts,for-example,wheel shop,truck shop etc.Each shop is responsible for repairing its designated part.The parts of locomotive I studied about are1-Compressor2-Carborator3-Governer4-Engine5-Generator etc
Internship At Carriage Factory Islamabad
CFI is an Islamabad based factory that comes under the scope of railway ministry. It deals with maintaining and reparing the carriages that are used by Pakistan Railways.In CFI I learnt the working,manufacturing,maintainance and repairing of carriages.CFI is divided into different units and each unit(shop) is responsible for different tasks such as cutting shop, paint shop etc
