The following are my main responsibilities at Islamic Relief Pakistan as WASH COORDINATOR

Providing sectoral leadership and technical support to needs identification and analysis to ensure activity plans and budgets.
Assessing country specific resources and capacities for program implementation.
Implementing and maintaining prescribed reporting systems to monitor and evaluate the objectives, indicators and outcomes of the projects
Formulating the aims and objectives of the program through development of a clear strategy for senior Management.
Advising and designing appropriate response to the country and community specific needs, the current levels of WASH capacity and the overlapping of WASH and other IRP sectors.
Selecting and introducing appropriate technologies for water systems in the given context, including source selection, abstraction, storage, treatment and distribution for new as well as rehabilitation of old Water systems.
Selecting and designing appropriate form of sanitation system considering local conditions, resources, customs and cultural norms.
Selecting and designing suitable hygiene promotion program that suits the local context and is widely accepted.
Ensuring and advocating the cross-cutting areas such as gender, protection, DRR and sustainability within all programs. As well as the integration of key sectors such as health and nutrition.
Supporting further development of WASH interventions through the use of project conceptualization, SWOT analysis and Stakeholder mapping
Ensuring standards are considered throughout program and are well documented.
Coordinating WASH program in an efficient manner, consulting and coordinating the IRP staff and other agencies.
Coordinating with HR team for the of recruitment essential work force.
Enhancing team capacity to respond to the emergency and development phases.
Ensuring gender responsiveness throughout the project cycle, with equal involvement in decision making throughout the program

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTechnical Support and quality assuranceTo ensure that technical and quality aspects of activities are in line with bestinternational practices and standards are appropriate to the operating context. TheInfrastructure /WASH Coordinator will support in leading the Infrastructure TechnicalWorking Group (TWG) for the Programme.Provide technical support to IPs field staff for their community mobilization work relatedto construction and management of the soft component of WASH.Provide technical advice and support to all programme teams in planning and budgetingof construction and training activities, including support in the development of IECmaterials or assessment of engineering designs and approving these were appropriate.Support partners in the process of procurement and selection of contractors and otheraspects of contract management as requested. Explore supply chain issues foravailability of required material to promote sustainability of systems.Monitoring, Training and capacity developmentConduct reviews of engineering works and WASH soft component at field level whenrequested and built the performance capacity of IPs staffEnsure consistency with Organizations, IPs and DWHH policies, strategies.

Worked as district senior engineer for district Sialkot and promoted to District Manager (project Manager) Bahawalpur on successful completion of package-1 of Sialkot Schools. Below are my main roles and responsibilities • Working across multiple sites and managing District Senior Engineer, District Engineers, community development coordinators, admin/finance/operations. 

• Over all managing, planning, and supervision of construction of class rooms and other missing facilities in 500 Government Schools of Sialkot and Gujranwala and Bahawalpur district
• Over all monitoring and updating all construction and community development related activities (progress, Quality and financial invoices) through MIS (Monitoring and information system) and Humqadam application.

Managing WASH and infrastructure related activities of different projects that includes training on PATS focusing CLTS to Govt Officials, communities and staff and manage CLTS related activities in communities, WASH activities in Govt School through SLTS and construction of class rooms, IT lab and rehabilitation of School buildings, and use of alternate energies by installing solar pannles and Bio Gas Plants at house hold and school levels

Over All responsible for Planing and managing the CPI activities that includes WASH, Shelter and Cash for Work schemes etc at provincial level.
