1. To deal with refugees / asylum seekers and respect and dignity
2. To listen to refugees/asylum seekers to talk about issues and provide them legal guidance
3. Actively listen to client concerns and empathizing with their position
4. Accepting without bias the issues raised by refugees/asylum seekers
5. To help refugees/asylum seekers towards a deeper understanding of their concerns
6. Help refugees/asylum seekers to make decisions and choices regarding possible ways
forward
7. Refer refugees/asylum seekers to other sources of help, as appropriate
8. To liaise, as necessary, with other agencies and individuals to help effect change based on
the issues raised by refugees/asylum seekers
9. To maintain individual records.
10. To correspond with UNHCR with copy to SHARP regarding refugee related matters, as
assigned by the Supervisor

To mobilize communities through participatory way.
To identify, record and refer issues of IDPs for resolutions.
To update and correct IDPs records and share that information with relevant agencies,
including UNHCR and PDMA, for assistance.
To conduct awareness raising sessions with IDPs on issues related to registration, camp
records, services available in the camp and the return process.
To develop and strengthen coordination with stakeholders for referral of cases.
To represent program at different forums whenever required.
