Value Addition:
· Increase fabric inspection capacity from 6000 m to 10000 m per day by using time and motion study.
· Reduce customer & shop complaints to 0.1 %.
· Attend pre-production meeting to review the Critical-to-Quality points in the product, develop the preventive measures to avoid the non-conformities in the process.
· Perform the supplier assessment based on the supplier s’ KPIs.
· Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) for collecting, analyzing and summarizing the quality control data to support the data based decision making.
· Review the customer s’ complaints, develop the corrective/preventive measures to avoid the non-conformity.
· Develop reporting procedure of inspection.
· Establish SOPs and standards to improve communication of quality department with other departments.
· Introduce offline inspection and linked it with payment of operators.
· Develop defect catalog for mutual consensus between supplier & quality department and for training purpose of quality inspectors.
· Determine, negotiate and agree on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications
· Specify quality requirements of raw materials with sourcing.
· Work with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures.
· Direct objective to maximize profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To perform training need assessment, develop training curriculum/contents, deliver trainings, performing pre and post training assessment of the quality staff.
• To monitor the team of quality inspectors.
• To evaluate the pre-production samples.
• To perform final audits of garments.(In-house & outsourced suppliers)
• To interact with vendors to ensure quality of raw material.
• To prepare SOPs
• To prepare testing procedures according to AATCC & ASTM

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To use Statistical Process Control (SPC) for collecting, analyzing and summarizing the quality control data to support the data based decision making.
• To assist the quality head in development, implementation and auditing of Quality Management System.
• To use Lean Six Sigma tools/techniques like 5S, Kaizen, quality circles, value stream mapping (VSM) control charts, FMEA etc for process/product improvement.
• To attend the pro-production meeting to review the Critical-to-Quality points in the product, develop the preventive measures to avoid the non-conformities in the process.
• To perform the supplier assessment based on the supplier s’ KPIs.
• To review the customer s’ complaints, develop the corrective/preventive measures to avoid the non-conformities.
• To perform any other task assigned by the quality head.
