Job description of recovery Manager
1.Responsible for planning, evaluating, implementing and continuously improving all aspects of recovery functions and processes
2.Ensuring professional relationships are established and maintained with clients and attorneys
3.Working closely with Regional Head of Recovery to respond recovery concerns with existing and potential clients
4.Review information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts
5.Correspondence with Legal Department for Filing of suits against bank employees for recovery of embezzled amount and defaulted customers.
6.Responsible for the publications of ads in newspapers for employees who have embezzled the customer recovery amount.
7.Confer with customers to determine reasons for overdue payments and to review the terms of service, and credit contracts.
8.Review reports & share reports to Supervisor on recoveries status.
9.Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Head of Recovery/ Regional Head of Recovery
Job description of recovery supervisor
Reviews delinquent account records to determine which customers must be contacted for collection of overdue accounts.
Organizes collection work load according to degree and amount of delinquency and assigns accounts to recovery officers for collection.
May assist subordinates with collection activities in difficult cases
Identifies areas of the collection process that need improvement and implements an enhanced process that will help collectors be more effective.
Tracks the rate of success of the entire process and continues to make adjustments when necessary.
Negotiates payment arrangements and follows up to make sure the payments are made.
Carry out Investigations and collect delinquent accounts and communicate the related issues to senior management.
Authorizes or refers accounts to manager for repossession and legal actions against debtors.
Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.
Prepare reports & share reports to Supervisor on recoveries status.
Ensure compliance of SBP prudential regulations.
Arrange the sale of collateral of delinquent TSQ as per procedure and process approved by the management.
Ensure and monitor the collateral sale will be done after completion of all necessary documentations.
