I have been working in the development sector since 1995 and own experience of working in the field of women right, gender and development, child protection, safeguarding and advocacy

I worked with different civil society organizations, i.e. BRSP, Aurat Foundation, HomeNet Pakistan and Tameer-e-Khalaq foundation for projects of different International partners and donors, i.e. USAID, UN WOMEN, IRC, DFID, NOVIB, Palladium, EU, TAF, UNICEF, GIZ etc

I own r experience of managing different projects of education, protection, GBV, Gender and development , PSEAH, livelihood, MHPSS, SRH, and MHM, women empowerment and emergencies.


Working on the organizational strategy towards safety and wellbeing of women and children remained my primary task. For that purpose, I have engaged in the organizations policy formation and related steps i.e. Gender policy, PSEA and Harassment policy, Child protection policy, safeguarding code of conduct, response and referral mechanism. I have also been engaged in development of referral pathways for GBV and CP issues.

I had experienced of maintaining close liaison with political parties, women wings of political parties, women parliamentarians, Media persons, Government Line department, Local bodies, Secretariat staff (WDD, SWD, Provincial Assembly, Home department and Law) and Civil society organizations and all human right networks working in Balochistan.

I extended my support to different departments for review the policies and working papers that were developed by civil society and departments i.e. HBWs Policy, Child Marriage bill, Balochistan, Acid Throwing prevention bill, Rules of Business, Domestic violence bill, SOPs for Dar-ul Aman and shelter home, HR policies etc. and provided support to assembly members for drafting of resolutions and bills. and continued further proactive advocacy and lobbying with parliamentarians, members of standing committees, Speaker of Provincial assembly, chairperson of standing committee and women caucus for pending legislation i.e. Child marriage prohibition bill Balochistan, Provincial Commission on the status of women, Provincial policy for women Home based workers and Acid survivor protection and Rehabilitation Bill.
My experience at management, coordination and counselling levels have conditioned my leadership and team-work skills to nurture in a proactive, motivating and solution oriented manner.
I am also involved in planning, strategizing and implementing strategic organizational obligations to achieve objectives of women's empowerment and gender equality through repackaging of information, analysis and lobbying and advocacy with political parties, legislators and government on women's rights, human rights and governance issues. I have been involved to provide the input from province in writing of different reports and publications i.e. Suggestions on Women's Empowerment for Election Manifestos of Political Parties, Performance of Women Parliamentarians in 12th National Assembly and Seven pro-women laws in seven years, Pakistan NGO ALTERNATIVE REPORT ON CEDAW 2012 and also remained involves in providing the material for regular newsletter of legislative watch programme.

Collecting and repackaging of information, writing of research papers, articles, case studies and Project closing analytical reports are the area of my professional expertise

I have closely worked with Government Service providers (Police, levies, Health, WDD, SWD, Ombudsperson office etc) to strengthen and streamline the referral mechanism to support the mitigation strategy of GBV and Protection issues.
Training of Government service providers at provincial head quarter and district level remained the important task for establishing referral network at district and Provincial level.

I have been involved in designing and imparting the trainings on Women empowerment, GESI , Safeguarding, Child protection, case referral, PSEAH, community based CP- GBV response mechanism etc

Home Net Pakistan is working for the rights of women Home based workers (HBWs). The overall objective of the EU funded Project - Support to Democratic Institutions in Pakistan. The Subai project. Its purpose is to advance the functioning of Pakistan parliamentary institutions, in particular Pakistan provincial assemblies, through effective legislation, strengthened policy and budget oversight and enhanced representation.
Result 1: Strengthened institutional development process and frameworks of assemblies
and better equipped elected representatives, selected committees and other parliamentary bodies at provincial level ;Result 2:Strengthened assemblies\' secretariats at provincial level;
Result 3: Improved transparency and accessibility of provincial assemblies.
The primary objective of the Project contract is to, by adopting an evidence based assessment of the needs of the Provincial Assemblies to design and deliver a range of capacity development and technical assistance services to achieve the Project specific strategic objective leading to attainment of the results defined above.
Role and Responsibilities:
1.key role in supporting the work to conduct the individual Provincial Assembly Political Economy Analyses (PEA) and also the necessary stakeholder mapping and analysis work.
2.Play a key front role at the Provincial Assembly level and is expected to play a key role in fostering excellent working relationships with both the Provincial Political Leadership and the Assembly Secretariat.
3.Role vis a vis the Provincial Steering Committee will be to prepare an outline terms of reference plus an indicative membership for the Steering Committee.
4.Provide a range of contextually sound advisory services including the positioning of the Project, and the development of all proposed programmatic technical interventions that reflect the needs expressed by the individual Provincial Assembly. Provide inputs to the planning of activities in the geographic area of the assignment.
5. Ensure implementation of only those activities and strategies as discussed and agreed and approved by the Team Leader.
6.Adopt a flexible, opportunistic and innovative approach to ensure that agreed project activities are implemented within agreed timelines.
7. work collaboratively with other Provincial leads to further the potential for greater inter-provincial linkages. The Provincial lead will also advise the TL as to when and how such linkages can be built and/or improved.
8.Provide input to in the development of Concept Notes and rationales underlying specific project interventions.
9.Lead and supervise all logistical arrangements associated with the roll out of programmatic activities.
10. Seek to advance key cross cutting governance themes including gender, social inclusion, fundamental rights and youth in all programmatic activities. As well as seeking to link activities to the Provincial Level Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Taskforce(s).
11. Contribute to mentoring and supporting the Young Parliamentary Associates (YPAs) deployed to the Provincial Assembly.

The Gender Equity Program (GEP), which commenced in August 2010, is a six-year USAID-supported program of Aurat Foundation; It encapsulates the bold and strategic intent of the cooperation between the governments of United States and Pakistan - that of working for gender empowerment in Pakistan through a Pakistani prime organization. GEP now manages grants across Pakistan covering the full range of grant related functions, grants documentation and compliance.
Aiming to reduce the gender Gap in Pakistan, GEP has four strategic objectives covering empowerment of women at home, the work place and in public spaces, justice for all women, combatting gender based violence and building the capacities of organizations and institutions that  work on women’s empowerment, be they government or civil society organizations. GEP is designed to award approximately 300 sub-grants over the period: Description of responsibilities:
