 Serving as an Assistant Manager of Oil, Environment & Chemical laboratory including Water Treatment Plant Operation with a team of 20 members.
 Some of my core responsibilities are to ensure the analysis of samples received in lab are being analyzed on time with meeting the best analytical practices to support overall operation.
 To ensure power plant chemistry is being implemented as per defined regime.
 Make sure that HSE rules are kept forward during daily chores and a sound housekeeping is being maintained in the facility.
 Inventory management of laboratory ware, chemicals and majorly bulk chemicals used for the process.
 Budget planning & procurement of items as and when required and technical evaluation of items.
 Responsible to develop new methodologies to enhance the capability of department and implement new benchmark methods to comply with latest available standards.
 Keep up the documentation as per ISO requirements and communicate effectively with audit teams.
 Keeping strong coordination with operation and maintenance teams for effective operation and corrective/preventive maintenance of system to maintain smooth plant chemistry.
 Communication with third party labs for external samples analysis where required and report analysis for RCA.
 Close liaison with supply chain team & vendors for timely deliveries of material to ensure that stocks are up to the mark and not piled up.
 Coordination with third party services providers for lab instruments calibration and preventive maintenance plans in order to keep the equipment healthy as per standards and meet the quality audit requirements.
 Individually involved in planning, procurement, and services of laboratory structural improvements to meet the GLP requirements and improved/safe laboratory culture.

- Worked as a Senior Chemist and I was reported to Head Analytical, I was responsible for the operational activities for planning and quality assurance of Environmental analysis carried out in the lab as well as outdoor activities.

- Meeting with customers for technical discussions and to advice / decide the scope of work where required.

- Fully capable of handling, operating & testing of the water, gas, flue gasses, Hydrocarbon Fluids & chemical products on latest & the most modern highly sophisticated instruments as per international quality management system.

- To observe and implement the HSSE, ISO and housekeeping activities in PRDF facility.

- Responsible to develop new methods as per customer needs. Also responsible in lab commissioning & training activities as a project client’s site mainly Oil & Gas exploration sites.

- Environmental testing: perform and report according to customer requirements (EPA compliance).

- Worked as a Chemist, and I was reporting to Lab Manager. I was deputed to a project of lab services with PDO which was working on different EOR techniques mainly Acid/Gas, polymer and steam injection.
- Internal calibration and maintenance of instruments used.
- Handling samples of Utility Water, Polymer, Chemicals, Crude, Lube and Gas Chromatography etc.
- Coordination with customers and TP labs for samples and results.
- Inventory maintenance of chemicals and consumables and to make sure that inventories are properly labeled and in proper place.
- Research work for new queries, working on new procedures where required.
- Development of new methods on instruments including calibration as per requirement.

- Worked as a Chemist / In-charge, and I was reporting to Lab Manager.
- Handling number of samples daily related to Water, Environment, Fuel and OCM (Oil Condition Monitoring).
- Planning, distribution of work load and training of new analysts.
- Responsible for R&D and modification on instruments using method validation tools.
- Provide technical support to customers in relation with interpreted results and OCM expertise.
- Online Reporting, maintaining daily worksheets and documentation.
- Update calibration & maintenance record of instruments; Instrumentation: ICP (Inductive Couple Plasma), Potentiometer, Colorimeter, UV Spectrometer, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, Digital Viscometer & Visco Bath, KFT Moisture Analyzer, GC, HPLC, FTIR.
