I have been working from 09 years in the development sector with extensive experience in the diversified field with national, international and govt. organizations across Pakistan. I have been actively involved in Emergency and Development Program/Projects on Value Chain, Livestock management,Food Security and Livelihoods, Nutrition, Rural Development, WASH, DRR, Health, and hygiene. I graduated in 2012 and then post graduated (18 years of Education) in Doctor of veterinary Medicine (DVM) with specialization in Parasitology from Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam, Pakistan. I remained an active staff member of national and international organizations as well as corporate multinational companies, in culturally different areas across the country.Currently I have working with Care International Pakistan as a food security and livelihood specialesr in UNOPs Project at Pishin. Befor that I Complted working with Muslim Aid Pakistan as a Project Officer in Killa Saif Ullah, Later that with Balochistan rural support program (BRSP) as Value Chain Specialist and before that I have completed a third party monitoring project of Tameer e khalq foundation with Glow Consulting Pakistan on girls education as a district project officer in district Killa Abdullah and Pishin.
Later that I am working with Muslim Aid Pakistan and Red Crescent pakistan as a Consultant on Livestock Management, with key function to delivery Livestock Management training to staff members as well as to community including vaccination, fodder distribution. Before it, worked with Muslim Aid regular employee on the capacity of Veterinary officer. Where I was supposed to organize community-based organizations, design livestock-based projects and then properly execute these small-scale projects. Before that, I worked with the SEHER organization as a master trainer (Food Security and Livelihood) for two years. Where I was being a technical person conceptualize and implement small scale Livestock and agricultural projects for rural communities. Prior to it, I worked with the SALAR development foundation for 8 months in two positions, firstly as supervisor and then as a Master trainer of livestock. pBeside the developmental sector I have work experience with corporate sector including IZFAAR Pharmaceutical Pvt (Limited) Lahore as Livestock Sale promotion officer (SPO),ICI Pakistan Limitedas Technical services Officer (TSO) on different research products like Animal Feed (Vanda/Fodder) and Medicines./p
pI am well aware of the culture and value of the development sector as well as of the geographic pockets of Pakistan. Beside it, I mostly read and write articles on current national and global issues like terrorism, climate change and global warming, immigrants issue, International Political economy, etc. During my career, I have been involved in writing a quality proposal, Concept notes, periodic reports against set indicators, and drafting of annual reports. I have excellent knowledge of computer software used for day to day reporting and analysis like MS Office, including Outlook, SPSS, MS Project, and ERP/ IMIS. Food Security & Livelihood Specialist
The collective and core purpose of this position is to the interventions will include provision of poultry packages, goat packages, Kitchen gardening kits, Mott grass fodder cutting, Income generation activities, VSLA formation and operations, and C-19 IPC via radio and face-to-face sessions and distribute IEC materials with government of Pakistan and WHO approved messages.
