Presently working as Senior Programme Officer-F&A in GBTI. GBTI registered under section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984 in October, 1995 to play the role of an intermediary for resolving project related issues and facilitating communities in area development with the financial support of WAPDA in the Ghazi Barotha Hydropower Project (GBHP) area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounts

• To ensure effective and efficient implementation of F&A policies and procedures;
• Making Financial planning, budgeting and financial monitoring to ensure they are maintained properly and provide appropriate information for decision making;
• Managing cash flows, costs and working capital for the entire organization;
• Managing investment of GBTI funds and fundraising;
• Liaison with banks and funding agencies for placement of investment, taking running finance facilities and Implementation of decisions of the investment and borrowing committee;
• Preparation of cash flow statements, Project expenditures as and when required;
• Designing and ensuring the implementation of computerized Financial Information System (FIS) to keep track of the endowment and internal finances;
• Reviewing and managing financial risks including those listed in the GBTI’s Risk Management Framework;
• To ensure compliance of financial processes, policies and procedures with international accounting standards;
• To ensure timely and error free financial reports for donors, management, Board of Directors and statutory bodies;
• To conduct and finalization of Internal, External and projects Audit;
• Assist the CEO/GM in all matters pertaining to Finance & Accounts.

Tax and Corporate

• Dealing with tax consultants and FBR on all tax related matters such as Tax audits & hearings, reply of notices, renewal of exemption certificates, Approval as NPO and tax e-filing on monthly as well as on annual basis etc.;
• Dealing with legal advisor and SECP on corporate related matters such as alteration in Article and Memorandum of Association, appointment and approval of Directors, filling of statutory forms (B,28,29 etc.), renewal of License and e-filing on monthly as well as on annual basis;
• Liaison with relevant agencies like PCP, PMN, EOBI, NADRA, HRDN, IUCN etc. on all matters such as renewal of certificates, filing of reports on monthly basis and provision of relevant data as and when required;
• Assist company secretory in all legal as well as BoDs related matter of the organization;
• Acting as Administrator of GBTI in Financial Monitoring Unit, Government of Pakistan on Go-AML;
