·         Responsible for the development of the production and maintenance schedule and manufacturing plan consistent with finished product demand, resource availability, and inventory level objectives
·         Analyze production requirements and plant capacity to determine both immediate and future human resource requirements
·         Responsible for installation, maintenance and improvement of production lines, managing contractors and ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
·         Weekly review of inventory against planned consumption, work with Supply Chain Specialist to generate purchase orders as required
·         Maintain effective communication and coordination with all plant management and associates; maintain positive employee relations; listen to issues and concerns and respond in a timely manner
·         Oversee and direct Engineering associates in safe, quality-minded and productive manner with a sense of urgency to attain production priorities as scheduled
·         Ensure that Operations services and facilities are available to maintenance personnel and outside consultants, contractors and other personnel and engage with them as issues arise to drive work efficiency.
·         Develop, own and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans and builds capability of the team to execute themselves; Build (spends at least 50% of time) technical and maintenance skills of the technicians working in the shifts, so that they are able to operate and maintain their equipment themselves; be part of the PM Pillar, own all PM systems and work process at the line level and lead some of them at the department level

Reporting to Production Head (Director) my responsibilities include:
• Supervising the work of production workers in the Chemical Mixing, Grinding, Filling lines, Packaging and Labeling Departments
• Tracking team Performance
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
• Monitoring computation and distribution of day-to-day production program on daily basis
• Planning and scheduling manufacturing, Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
• Liaising with ware-housing, quality assurance. bulk- packaging areas to ensure prompt shipment of product
• Monitors quality of incoming raw materials and finished products

- Design and develop new systems, processes, and equipment to ensure manufacturing is efficient and effective.
- Investigate and analyze problems and devise solutions that save money, time, and materials.
- Manage budgets and ensure project deadlines are adequately met according to standards and requirements.
- Evaluate new manufacturing and control technologies, adapting into specifications as appropriate.
- Confirm control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or executing test procedures.
- Prepare and/or review electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls drawings
- Provide guidance to electrical and electronic technicians in programming, repair, and maintenance of PLCs programs and control systems
- Programming PLC using Ladder Logic, developing HMI programs
- Deigning Industrial Control circuits using microcontrollers
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
