Roles and Responsibilites:
Ensure efficient and effective implementation of DRR, Construction intervention, and related interventions at the community level.
Take the lead to sensitize the communities for DRR and mainstreaming in project activities.
Lead the DRR and resilience-building initiatives in the SIF project;
Support capacity development and provide quality assurance to the ongoing SIF projects, in particular, to mainstream DRR into project strategies;
Provide strategic and innovative solutions for building more efficient, coordinated, and reliable preparedness and response systems.
Facilitate the CBDRM/DRM program’s activities of SIF and the community
Effective knowledge building and management.
Assist in the identification of and liaison with key stakeholders who can contribute to broadening and deepening the DRR agenda in the project;
Contribute to the integration and adaptation of international DRR terminology and approaches in the project;
Undertake field visits for specific data collection and/or implementation of program activities.
Support the organization and facilitation of DRR training events at various levels;
Contribute to identifying and addressing gaps that would need to be addressed in order to promote a culture of emergency preparedness and enhance response readiness;
Support the facilitation of DRR coordination events (meetings/study tours) at various levels;
Support knowledge building and management across projects, and activities;
Successful integration of DRR in SIF-specific initiatives in the project;
Promotion of a culture of open data and information sharing among all stakeholders in DRR;
Coordinate (or assist Base Project Teams in coordinating) activities with local authorities, international community members, other implementing actors and partners at the local level.
Keep close coordination with Community leaders
Maintain coordination and appropriate information sharing and communication lines with partners and stakeholders at the field level to avoid duplication and maximize synergies.
Regularly monitor project activities and provide timely inputs and feedback to the Project office/Project Manager.
Timely submission of daily and weekly Progress updates to the Project Manager.
Compile and maintain proper record keeping of Project activities in hard files and soft database.
Responsible to maintain a record of internal and external communication including emails, letters, purchase requisitions and other relevant documents.
Ensure the compilation of data from the field on a daily, monthly and periodic basis regarding the project
Document success stories, case studies and other reporting documents as required by the project manager.

A project to (Support Afghan Refugees and Host Communities through Health care Services and Multipurpose Cash Assistance) Mental Health Psychosocial Support MHPSS Program funded by International Rescue Committee (IRC)16th of June 2022 to 16th December 2022.

Roles and Responsibilities:
· The Child Safeguarding Officer has the main responsibility for managing child protection and issues in all project targeted schools and ALP centers.
· To ensure that all the project staff are appraised and updated on a regular basis on the implementation of the child safeguarding policies, procedures and systems.
· To develop systems, policies, procedures, resources and structures in Project office for child protection.
· To ensure that highest standards with regard to child safeguarding are in place.
· To ensure the robust and transparent systems for monitoring, review and auditing of all aspects of Child Safeguarding is in place.
· To ensure strict adherence to child safe guarding policies of donor and implementing partner.
· To advise and facilitate child safeguarding training to staff and management.
· To carry out monitoring visits to support, review, assess and ensure child safe guarding in ALP centers.
· To promote and ensure that child safeguarding is afforded high priority and is integrated into all functions within the project.
· To collect, analyze and produce regular reports with regard to the implementation of safeguarding policies of the donor/implementing partner including incident monitoring, review.
· Representative of the project in regards to the Child Safeguarding.
· To work in a professional manner at all times that reflects the values and culture of the target areas.
· To ensure that all staff and management who are likely to come into contact with children should receive child safeguarding training on induction along with regular refresher courses.
· To ensure clear system and processes for raising concerns in regards to child safeguarding and taking appropriate action against any policy breaches and child abuse
· Conduct client assessment of Self-harm and suicidal cases in two Hospitals of Balochistan.
