Geological field work and mapping project ( Cape Monze Study)

The geological field work of surrounding Cap monze area which is present sona pass area of Karachi Embayment in lower Indus basin had enabled us to understand the practical approach of academic knowledge of the geology. The Gaj formation of Miocene and the Nari formation of Oligocene are exposed in the area which covered some places by recent deposit. Our main objective was geological mapping and to produce the geological cross section and columnar section of sona pass area. We plot different cross section from the map and from the map we observed anticline syncline and their associated structures. We observed their different lithologies , paleontology mineralogy and measured the thickness of the straitigraphic successions constructed their geological and drainage map of the area. After the completion of ten days field we accept worth full period of our life.
