Field Operations Specialist-RAN
Complete overlooking and managing Operations of Network in Telenor Central II region which includes day to day operations of RAN BTS Sites (ZTE + NSN), Microwave TXN Network (NEC + NSN), ZTE Core TXN (PTN +DWDM) and RAN Optimization.
Work in Liaison with TP Commercial team to resolve Network and TCH related complaints.
Coordinating with TP RF team on cluster basis to resolve all Customers complaints within the SLA.
Coordination within TP/vendor FOP teams, as well as between Operational Management, to ensure better Network KPIs.
Coordination with TP NOC and CRD to ensure a smooth liaison between the customer and the operator.
To have close coordination with BSS/TXN Roll Out team and support them in conducting ATPs on newly installed site in my cluster in particular.
Conducting PM Audits in the regional cluster to ensure quality of operational sites and keep check on the vendors for good quality of work.
Coordinating in Operational Excellence project of deploying heavy charge dry batteries on poor back up sites to reduce fuel
consumption and ensuring fuel saving by keeping GLOs in the region up and running.
To analysis Worst Cells of the region, perform health check on them and determine RCA of their degradation and to bring KPI of these affected cells to normal values.
All around coordination on CM issues with all stakeholders by arranging regional & cross functional meetings.
To withstand extreme work pressure during summer and monsoon to keep the network KPIs stable.
To help vendor and support them in transitional periods by having close follow-ups on every outage occurring in that period of time.
NOC Engineer
• Monitoring, analyzing and following up on all radio network interface service-affecting alarms
• Performing analysis and timely escalations of all blocked resources on the radio interface to vendor teams and field operations
• Provision of FLM of specific radio interface alarms, vital for improving Network KPI’s
• Routinely check of all BSS related planned activities and escalation to the concerned teams and management
• Verification of critical outages through fault reports and identification of outages through fault notifications SMS
• Development of a good understanding on NetAct (Nokia Configuration & Management Tool) , Huawei M2000 and Siemens RC (Radio Commander)
