Workshop Equipment Assistant Engineer
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Assisted the depot equipment team leader in carrying out all level ofcorrective and preventive maintenance activities on workshop equipment including wheel lathe, train washing plant,lifting jacks, automatic warehouse, cranes and other rail maintenance equipment according to SOPs.
- Troubleshooting and Repairing: Performed troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing various PLC basedequipments as per the SOPs and guidance of Workshop Engineer and Deputy Manager.
- Preparation and Implementation of SOP’s: Prepared SOP’s for the maintenance and troubleshooting of workshopequipments and implemented to maintain a minimum level failure.
- HSE Practices: compliance to standard HSE practices to ensure the safe execution of maintenance jobs with
assurance of OLMRTS safety standards.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conducted root cause and failure analysis of equipments breakdown to diagnose faulty operation and execute remedial actions and troubleshooting.
- Coordination: Coordinated with project teams for timely resolution of maintenance tasks related to equipment andconstruction tasks related to Rolling Stock Buildings.
- Cable Sizing and overload relay setting: Calculated cable sizes of different motors according to its rated powerand nominal voltages. Also, calculated thermal relay setting of various induction motors.
- Maintenance plans and reports: Prepared monthly preventive maintenance plans of all the operational workshopequipment and prepared different types of reports, which include SCADA halogen lights details, fire extinguishers inspection report, building inspection report, cable insulation report etc.
- On Job training: Successfully completed on job safety training and operational training of main rolling stock equipment’s which include rolling stock washing plant, rolling stock lifting plant, rolling stock wheel profiling lathe, stereoscopic warehouse and mobile lifting jacks and have experience of all the equipment’s operations.
Design and Application Engineer
- Testing: Tested proximity sensors of both types PNP and NPN, Limit switches and Solenoids/ Spool Valves.- Panel Design: Designed SYNTEC PLC control panel with 2 Engineers and having hand on experience of panel wiring.- Troubleshooting: Resolved hardware troubleshooting and maintenance of different types of CNC machines.- Panel Drawings: Developed power drawings of different types of different types of CNC machines by hand.- Panel Wiring: Engineered connections of MCB, Contactors, Relays and VFD and connections of input and output cards of SYNTEC CNC control.- Servo Drive: Engineered Connections of Servo motors and drives and allocated separated path for M3 Link and other communication cables.- PLC Training: Successfully completed 5 days training on SIMATIC PLC Ladder Logic.
