Assistant Quality Assurance Manager
1) Manages the activities of the Incoming Quality Control (IQC) department to ensure incoming raw materials, components and contract manufactured products meet their approved specifications or other regulatory requirements.
2) Perform Supplier on-site audits or remote audits (as applicable) in accordance to the required standards to support the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Program.
3) Tracks the status of incoming materials, ensures computer databases/worksheets are updated and keeps QA Manager and other appropriate departments informed of inspection status
4)Manage and operate all calibration system labels and assist in the periodic customer audits for quality.
5) Work with customers in carrying out comprehensive quality surveys to determine customers’ perception of finished calibrated products and make use of feedback data to improve production quality.
6) Prepare quality documentations and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information from customer rejections: sharing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) along with Corrective/ Preventive actions to the customer and validating by compliance audit at each and every process.
7) Apply data Analysis for controlling defects through Statistical Process Control techniques (Histogram, Control Charts, Pareto Analysis etc.)
8) Leading the Quality Assurance lab for inspection and testing finished products, verifying dimensions, run ability test and ensuring good quality & durability: managing the Certificate of Analysis for all the customers with finished goods.
9) Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), lead In-House quality audit as per customer & coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance.
10) Implementation of Total Productive Maintenance on the production floor to to increase efficiency by insuring 5S and KAIZENS. Implemented a kaizen and saved Rs 3.02 crores rupees per annum.
